So if i did so happen to want to subscribe for AJ vs Franklin i have to pay £20 and unless i cancel my sub instantly or at the latest later the same day, i will have to pay £40 as there is a 30 day cancelation clause.
Id be surprised if Dazn has more than 5k subs by the end of the month.
People cannot afford there Electric and Gas so Dazn impose a 140% price increase because AJ who hasn't had a win in over 2 years is now fighting there.
I hope they go bankrupt in the next 12 months.

Cancelled long ago. Just not good value. I don’t know anyone who has it.

I cancelled last year, it is simply not value for money. I subbed when it was £2 and even stayed on when they upped it to £7 i believe it was but the total lack of decent cards turned me away, i for one will not be subbing with them again unless the price comes down.

I was going to re subscribe but I agree. Price point is not value for money given the schedule

I agree. Matchroom's UK schedule is far too thin. They have a good start with Wood vs Lara and then we have to get to Joshua in April before there is anything interesting. Not good enough with the drastic price increase.

A lot of moaning about DAZN with a lack of UK cards and price quoted by many but we need a balanced view from the inside.

Are there any DAZN or Matchroom employees posting on here that may impart further information on what subscribers can expect for the year ahead in particular:

    1. Is Box Office really finished per the Eddie Hearn tweet for DAZN subscribers forking out for the next 12 months?
    2. Will there be UK cards every month including the month of January?
    3. Is there a minimum number of UK cards to be shown over a calendar year?

There’s not a boxing or sports network that I would pay 20 a month for let alone DAZN. Ten years ago maybe but not in 2023. Go on social media and you will see none of your mates pay for PPV anymore, years ago everyone was in to it.

Original poster is right, bills are through the roof right now , you’d be mad or loaded to pay 20 quid for a one sided fight regardless of the “draw” of the fighter

Eddie Hearn tweeted yesterday 'No PPV Just a taste of what is to come in 2023' when the schedule was published.

Sounds great with the price increase reasonably interpreted as the end of Box Office for subscribers and good content to follow in the rest of the year.

If that was the basis for subscribing, then £99.99 for a year is fine with me.

If suddenly during the summer, these words only meant the Joshua next fight then we find that Joshua v Whyte for example is on DAZN Box office, many subscribers would be lost for good.

Clarity of the Box Office position would significantly boost subscribers numbers and retention rates.

DAZN is terrible. When it first launched, I was actually pretty hyped. It was good too, where it was available, DAZN Canada had epl, nfl and the boxing schedule was quite regular and the price was reasonable. I had DAZN Australia, it was like $3 or something, apparently I missed an email and all of a sudden I was being charged $20 a month and it had **** all even DAZN fights with matchroom were on kayo instead. So I cancelled. They are crooks, for sure Eddie wishes he stayed with Sky. It's got to the point where I think boxing would be better off without it. Send DAZN down the shitter.

It’s obvious they are using the AJ vs A Bum as a way to get people to keep their sub. His next fight is PPV on there
