I came across this cytosport cytoslim the other day in the shop and the gnc guy had alot of good things to say about it. I work hard and Have not had fast food in months. I would not mind a little something to help me with my weight loss goal. I will admit though I have had a terrible schedule and I hate eating oatmeal in the morning. I would like to know if this shake is a scam or not.

It's just standard protein shake mix. Substandard, actually. It's perfectly serviceable as a supplement, but thirty dollars is slightly overpriced and fourteen grams of protein is slightly below average. If you have a Trader Joe's near you they have their own brand of whey that's got 17 or 18 g's of protein and like 120 or 130 calories; it has a good blend of other vitamins in it too. I used to use that but recently switched to "Americas Number One Protein" which is a little cheaper, and has 20 g's of protein with only 100 calories, and tastes better.

Just find an affordable brand you can get at your grocery/vitamin store that has a a high ratio of protein to calories, and that doesn't make you gag.

Also, if you ever feel like a good breakfast you can mix chocolate whey powder into pancake mix; tastes like cocoa puffs, got protein and vitamins, and it's pancakes! Can't go wrong with pancakes. Just don't douse them in syrup.

Best protein you can get is liquid egg whites. Most grocery stores sell them. They come in like milk cartons.

Considering you can 4 or more scoops in one glass I'd say its pretty good. (1 scoop = 1 serving)

    Besides, I eat tuna anyway.

What are you joking? You don't need to take much over 20-30g in one sitting, or else it's a waste.

Cyto sport, same brand that does muscle milks has a good reputation. I'd say its a good product based on the brand. Other things you could do for fun is try shopping around for something similar..

Supplementwarehouse.com tends to have great deals.. You could look for other things like meal replacement bars, or just protein bars.

Differs from person to person, depends on size, training, protein source etc.
