I’m very amused at you scouring General for opinions.

Once you realize why Tank, both Charlo’s, and Spence, are hated by them and Bivol, Lomachenko, and Usyk can do no wrong, you won’t seek their opinions.

JMM gets dropped and looks out of it before a masterclass ala Pac I.

Tank is a good boxer so, sure, he could pull the upset, but there exists no evidence he'd even take such a fight. At this point it isn't even any kind of contest. Make this thread again in a few years after he retires. Hopefully, Tank will have accumulated some experience to compare with JMMs.

I purely did so to demonstrate you had lied. Which I did.

Emotional? More like factual. It's all moot, Tank would never fight a prime Marquez, and I don't expect him to fight any serious challenger at 135 either. No Haney, Loma, Shakur or even Kambosos.

He should have won every round against Gamboa...Gamboa was shot.

I think JMM was a top fighter and his trainer, Nacho Berenstein (sp?) was as good as it gets. Tank is an excellent fighter too. I saw him fight twice as an amateur (at regionals, and in his last amateur fight against the same opponent) and it was obvious to anybody who saw him that he would be a PPV fighter in a few years. The thing with Tank is that as an amateur he was known more for his boxing skill and quickness than his power. The guy is fast. I haven't watched him much since he turned pro, but if he is anything like he was as an amateur, and he is also a big puncher, he'll be tough to beat. JMM is an excellent boxer but Tank is the kind of quick, strong athlete who could overwhelm anybody at anytime.

Tank has been in the ring since he was a small kid. As greynotsoold said once about boxers who grow up around boxing, they are "immersed" in the sport. Tank is one of them, he was fighting at the top level when he was 11 years old. He can do it all and if he runs into an opponent who makes him step it up, he probably has another gear.
