A usual condition in boxing more specifically MMA, wrestling and BJJ. Which boxers obtained it???

Sebastian Lujan when he fought Antonio Margarito. Dudes ear almost fell completely off his face! Ouch!!!

I believe Pacquiao s ear was caused by a punch/ punches by Miguel cotto (whom PAC claims was his toughest opponent because in his own words 'after 6 rounds the fight was still even).PACs ear was immediately bandaged and swollen after the Cotto fight. And another thing I believe it was from clubbing left hooks as Pacquiao right ear was damaged. To add my 2 cents, the late great Manny steward chimed in that Miguel's technique looked sloppy, almost looking like he was training himself before the fight. Maybe he was captain of the ship called team Cotto? Lol he got different better trainers before it was too late though.

Didn't notice such thing, not saying it can't happen, but it's a privilege of the grapplers, not the strikers. What can happen in boxing is ruptured eardrum.

Doubtful the cauliflower ear happened from boxing alone, it could have happened I guess but it’s more likely from some past wrestling or grappling training.

Most people don't know how a cauliflower ear develops. A simple blow to the ear can cause the first little injury which leads to one. My ear is so ****ed up and i barely trained any grappling or wrestling till 23/24. And my ears looked like dog **** when i was 21 or 22. If you get hit too much to the ear, a cauliflower ear will develop from alone. I think most pro boxers use headgear in sparring so it's kind of protected but in the end every person doing some sort of combat sports sparring can develop a cauliflower ear. In wrestling/grappling the % is high because you often use your hands to control the head etc...

Pacquiao was an absolute boss in that Cotto fight. You had a blown up Featherweight going in there standing toe to toe with a natural 140/147 pounder (known as a vicious body puncher) and walking through a busted ear drum to stop him.
