It would be a great boxing story if Joshua convincingly and stylishly beat Franklin, who, let's be realistic, doesn't have much of a chance...
Joshua says he's just fighting for money now. Not for titles, not to be the best, not because he loves the sport. Just money. A guy who realizes he'll never be champ again. Don't expect him to fight anyone who might pose a risk from now on. He can make money off the Brits fighting guys like Jermaine Franklin from now on. That's why he turned down a Fury fight for the title. He'd probably lose. Now it's just about fighting knockovers and running this hustle on the Brits as long as possible. This content is protected
This content is protected AJ literally has £20m+ in the bank cash and another £20m+ in investments and he's fighting for money? He's a lost soul. Fury doesn't fight for money but he will always get his worth for a fight which people seem to confuse.
Joshua was without his beats ( or whatever brand the are) headphones for once. Maybe that's one sponsorship deal over?
Franklin's a blown up cruiser weight. He boxed very well against Whyte but just wasn't big enough to hurt him. I hope this is just a warm up fight for Wilder later in the year and not Whyte
I suspect Johnny Casual will rapidly start losing interest in the guy. No more Sky Sports promotion. No longer champion. No longer question marks over who's better Joshua or Fury. Look at Whyte. He went from selling 1 million PPVs in the UK to fighting for an audience of tens on Dazn in the space of 4 years.
I have often said I would like to hear the real AJ instead of the scripted one. The non scripted one is even more of a tool. The only thing I would like to see is him disappear.
A boxer is fighting for money??? Gasp! This is unheard of. He's not fighting for sport like Tyson Fury and Canelo? Who obviously aren't fighting for money. This is a major let down.
