In relation to the production, I wish they had a camera placed on a stand that could film down into the ring. Otherwise, it was quite nice with good ring walks flanked by fireworks. GBM Sports tries to give something to the audience and the viewers.
I missed this thread yesterday but luckily @CST80 started a RBR and I at least saw the last couple of fights. The last one was a cracker and there was a lot to like in the promotion. I liked the atmosphere there, promoter seems a likeable guy and Sunny Edwards did a very decent job commentating, bags of enthusiasm and knowledge and a decent counter to Spencer Oliver. Shame you missed the fight, but at least you got to watch. Hope you're soon feeling better!
I went to this show on Fri and for a small hall promo outfit they showed that no matter the venue and card the promotion can be as good anywhere. Honestly it was like been on a big night of boxing with the only difference been a smaller venue. Really good night all round and the main event was a fan fav. 10/10 GBM
Great to hear. I had 3 tickets I bought off Joe but had to miss it due to COVID. Glad you enjoyed it. I'm going to the next one. Izzy seems really genuine too.
Ye it was a real good night topped with that main event. Izzys set the bar with the small halls there tbf. Ye he's a real nice guy and was mulling round the crowd engaging with everyone. Even the weigh in and promos leading into fight week brought a big night feel to it.
