Name the boxers who you dislike and explain why

Boxers should be thought money management and to think ahead with their finances regarding spening and leeches.

Also a boxing pension where a percentage of your purse goes would be a good way for them to protect themselves from financial ruin due to poor decision making years later.

 

I'm not a person very good at compartmentalizing an athlete in the sport vs their behavior outside the ring so I don't like the guys who beat up their wives and gfs, who say **** that offends me or who screw over their team, families and friends to get ahead. So I don't care for guys like Floyd and gatti and Valero and billy Joe saunders.

In terms of in the ring, I don't care for fighters who have low punch outputs and fight spoiler styles where you can tell they're tallying the points in their head and doing just enough to edge rounds. I know it's smart, I know it's within the rules of the sport, but it's boring and I hate it.

 

A couple others have already said it well, but Muhammad Ali, hands down. Very powerful personality, able to con the world into believing that he was a humanitarian, given the edge by refs, judges, and promoters.

Actually, none of the boxers are likable. They beat and hurt people to get rich and famous.

 

Fury is becoming very tiresome.

 

Pretty much the first name that always comes to mind for me with these type of threads.

 

Teofimo is very unlikeable and his dad " FORGET ABOUT IT"...haha.

 

I don't mind Teo too much but, just like Danny Garcia's dad, Lopez' father makes it more difficult to like the fighter.

 

Unfortunately there is a lot of meglomaniacal pro boxers nowadays. Of course, I still respect their talent and bravery. Honestly though, many of them, if I saw them across the street, I would just keep walking. Fighters from bygone eras, I would have been proud to walk over to them and shake their hands.

 

5 years ago would be Wilder, but he redeemed himself in taking 3 beatings by Fury.

Gervontay Davis has to take his place now.

Similar reasons; he is both stupid and idiotic at the same time.

Also highly overrated and avoids meaningful competition.

 

All Black fighters? What about Ryan Garcia, Andy Ruiz, and Jake Paul?

Angel wears his love for Danny on his sleeve. Meanwhile, Teo seems nothing more than his dad's meal ticket.
