Considering how less than charitable or sporting Wilder has been in defeat, I would not give him the opportunity for redemption---or quite frankly the check--if I were Fury.

I'd let him ruminate on the closing moments of the third fight for the remainder of his days.

Fury's less than stellar condition made it competitive last time out but it's not the right time for a IV. Usyk should be the only show in town.

If I was Usyk, I’m not accepting 40%. It’s an era defining fight, once again in the oppositions back yard. The purse is already smaller having been moved from Saudi but more importantly, as a fighter it’s the pinnacle of a career that has been achieved via an Olympic gold, unifying the cruiserweight division and then by twice beating the golden goose in AJ. Usyk brings it all to the table.. at this point, Furys legacy hinges on a victory over Usyk but I think he’s wobbling.

People have been taken in by this rumour, which has no sources aside from a boxing blog which has just put 2 and 2 together and ran with it.

Meanwhile, Alex Krassyuk is due to visit this week and is very positive about doing a deal. Yesterday, Frank Warren told the media they've provisionally booked Wembley for April 29th in case a Saudi fight can't take place. This sort of news doesn't suit people's agendas about Fury so they don't talk about it with anywhere near the same enthusiasm as some random rumour.

It does seem that, for some on here, they'd rather this fight falls through to add weight to their "Fury ducks big fights" agenda. It's such a strange mentality - all the noises from the right people and reputable sources indicate this is going ahead.

As is normal for a huge fight, there is some negotiation about splits, purses etc but that's to be expected. An undisputed fight like this is fairly unprecedented for the modern era, given that one hasn't happened for so long. There will obviously be things to iron out. Again, this doesn't necessarily mean either fighter is "scared" or "ducking".

I don't usually endorse Saudi fights, but in a way I think this would've been a good one to take place on neutral ground. As we all know, Usyk clearly doesn't care about being the away fighter, but having it at Wembley in front of a vociferous Fury supporting crowd does surrender a marginal gain in what looks like a very tight contest.

I think it's possible they'll officially announce it at the Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight in a couple of weeks, perhaps with both Usyk and Tyson Fury present.

One other thing: Wilder at Wembley? Wilder outside US? He barely did it a couple of times when he was nobody.

I wonder whether Joshua’s poor ticket sales for the Franklin fight might make a Wilder fight more likely.

I don’t even think a Whyte fight would sell that well for Joshua. It may not sell out Wembley anymore.

I think there’s only 2 fights out there for Joshua which are guaranteed sell out and PPV successes - Wilder and Fury. Usyk too but only if it’s for titles.

Despite the bravado, Hearn and DAZN will be spooked by the poor interest in the Franklin fight. They’ve invested hugely in Joshua and will want to see a return. Fights that perform below expectations commercially won’t cut it due to the investment.

Prediction. Fury and his team will try to low-ball Usyk. As a proud man, Usyk will tell them to do one. Fury will tell the world Usyk doesn't want the fight, then fight a tomato can in the spring, followed by AJ in the late summer or autumn.

    I hope I'm wrong.

So Usyk should make the offers then. Why is it just Queensbury and the Saudis making the offers?

If Usyk wants A-side, he should put the work in.

Team Usyk have said they don’t need A side. Their one and only condition is 50/50 split. Fury can have his name first on the posters, ring walk second, Queensbury can be main promoters etc etc.

Oh yeah, the guy who got 30% off Chisora is the A side, makes perfect sense.

Usyk had to beat Joshua, just to get 50% in the rematch. When the fight comes, there will be 80k Fury fans, and a handful of rich Ukranians. To say Usyk is the A side is a bit bonkers.

The Klits fought in Germany. If Usyk is the A side, he could draw Fury to Germany. But, K2 know he's nowhere near the draw Fury is, hence why Wembley is on the table.

    And yes.
