I don't think Roy Jones had a good jab. He used it to set his left hooks and right hands. I don't recall seeing one single opponent of Jones having their head bounce back due to a jab. I think he connected more left hooks than jabs during his career.
Orlando Salido wasn´t a great fighter per say, but I always admired how far he got with mainly looping hooks.
It's quite interesting to watch JMM and notice how offensively flawed he was. An amazing counter puncher for sure, legendary counter skills. But not the most multidimensional fighter around.
You never saw Wilfredo Gomez throw that many jabs which if you ask me, against Salvador Sanchez was part of why he lost. Jose Luis Ramirez also didn't throw that many jabs.
