Usually we get a proper text message or video from Warren announcing that there may be an announcement soon. Now we get only a photo of smiling people. Nice one.
Exactly. People on this forum are like little girls, they get titillated by gossip and love to speculate as to whether actual world class prize fighters are "scared" of eachother. It's ridiculous. Obviously money and ego comes into it, but I don't believe any of these top fighters are genuinely "scared" of facing eachother - otherwise they'd be in the wrong profession!
Megafights fall through all the time, regardless of how much cash is on the table. How many examples do you want? This fight possibly being made does nothing to change that. End of
Ok? But we're talking about this fight as a singular example. There is no evidence to suggest this isn't going to happen, the only source to suggest anything to the contrary is some random boxing blog with no sources that has put 2+2 together and made 5.
Just Fury's track-record, the Ngannou situation, Frank desperately trying to line up Fury-Joyce in the summer prematurely, absolute cap from Fury's own family members, Usyk calling out Fury far more than any previous opponents in a clear attempt to control the narrative, the Saudi situation falling through, various Frank comments on deadlines, Chisora 3 being put on PPV... There's a ton of evidence this won't be made for anyone with the brain to read between the lines based on what's been made public. Is there any proof? No, because evidence and proof aren't the same thing. I don't need to prove this won't happen - YOU need to prove it WILL happen first because that's how the burden of proof works, and trust me, I really hope it does as a boxing fan Bud and Spence aren't afraid of each other. Fight's still not gonna get made any time soon due to PBC being PBC. This line of thinking reminds me of those bumbling videos that push for AJ-Wilder without taking into consideration promoter/network differences
