Well, Johnny was past his best days.

 

Another example of Joe Frazier as a top shelf, down to earth, genuine guy.

Johnny had some moves - boxed as an AM in the Navy aboard ship. 10-0.

Apparently he was on his way to a combat zone when the war ended.

 

Lol, this is true.

Him and Joe, prime v prime? A toss up really.

I remember watching that show when it first aired. I noticed then what appears at the 8:43 mark in the video that Joe appears to miss the bag when he sends over the cross at the end of the cycle. I didn't think much of it at the time, but looking back it might have hinted of what was to come against Foreman in Kingston. But otherwise Joe looked good and it was great seeing this clip again.
