The footage shows what happened and if you are playing down effectiveness of one fighter in favor of another, that would mean Willie Pep should never have won his fights since he was considered a light hitter

As a matter of fact, your effectiveness in judging a fight really depends on how closely your score compares with the true scoring that comes from the outcome in the video.

The closer you are in agreement, the better you are in judging fights whereas the farther you are from the true score, the worse your judgement

and while I had hagler head by only three points, we must both admit, its far better than your score you blind bat

 

C'mon George , thats hog wash about Taylor.. this whole idea that Hearns was some big force at 160 gets so overblown .. BECAUSE he was not .. . Hagler beating Hearns at 160 is not even close to his best wins there ... This is a classic case of .. WOW look at the name .its Tommy Hearns at 160 .. BFD... This fight was scheduled for 83 and postponed for 2 years because Tommy was going thru a series of Rt hand injuries .... AND he hadn't fought at 160 for 2 YEARS .. before the Hagler fight ,, He was fighting at 154 ... 2 years prior he folded his Rt on Sutherland at 160 and went thru other rt hand injuries as well.... Tommy couldn't hang well at 160 against the Bigger stronger men there compared to his other weights ... He had so many problems .... you should know better George bringing up Hagler beating Tommy at 160 ... again he didnt fight there in 2 years ....... I agree with you on how he bombed him out in 3 .. BUT that was on Tommy
