Both cards that night are terrible. I'll watch Cain Baluta on BT and then Okolie Light on Sky. Even if you combined both cards, they still wouldn't be worth watching in full.

love when they announce who’s on the bill without mentioning the opponent

Tickets sales look awful for this show. Heard they're giving away quite a few tickets aswell.

Hardly a surprise. Cruiserweight is a dead division.

International Football weekend so I’m guessing both BT and Sky requested shows this weekend…it’s not the promoters fault their only delivering what their broadcaster requires. Same with quality control..surely these big broadcasters have a “boxing” person on board who approves shows??

surely we should give Ben the tea boy a little more time, it’s early days, he only has the biggest sports broadcaster in the country to work with

Yep, plenty of freebies doing the rounds, but that’s a given for most Matchroom and Boxxer shows these days. Dread to think how many that Buatsi show in Birmingham in a few weeks will sell.

Seen some footage of this David Light and he literally throws his shots bang up right with ZERO head movement.

    He'll get flattened.

Yup I think the same sadly. I've followed him from his amateur days and it's great seeing another Kiwi get a World Title shot and I really do hope he can pull it off, but his style is tailor made for Okolie. Okolie's straight right will bust Light up badly especially as he likes to sit in the pocket and fight with a high guard, Okolie will punch right through it, and his footwork and head movement are too slow to trouble Okolie.

Pretty sure Frank got approved by BT he could spend budget on a few big fights a year and then do filler cards in between.

boxxer meanwhile must be leaking cash. Okolie is on over a mil for this fight and the gate and right rights money will be less than half that.

would love to know where the cash is coming from they are leaking

DAZN's fee for being aired on Sky goes straight to Boxxer? :eyebrow2:
