I never thought much of Ike, he just wasn't a good boxer imo. He looked the part, a fearsome beast of a fighter. But apart from that and good power, eh.

Lennox would've had zero problems with him.

Hunting down and consistently landing on Byrd, not a good boxer?

Yeah, even though he TKO'd Byrd, I still don't think he was very good. Wild, sloppy, repetitive, unimaginative, basic. A lot of people felt Tua beat him. Barely winning on points to Tua speaks volumes about his boxing ability.

Don't get me wrong, he was always exciting to watch and the Tua fight was a great display of competitive spirit. I sure wish he was around today, he'd smash lots of these guys up!

I just saw Ike had a 77" reach. That might be a big problem vs Lewis.

Edit: Maybe not. Same reach as Ray Mercer.

As they say, " 50% of boxing is 90% mental ". Ikes mentality does note bode well with a Lewis fight.

They can indeed denote both male and female, singular and plural!

But I get yer joke. :)

And boy, oh boy, are you ever so right. Ike seemingly ruined his whole life.

Honestly could see a repeat of Mccall-Lewis 2. Ike had a lot of mental issues and being completely humiliated by Lewis wouldn't help. Speaking of help, he needed a lot of it but more importantly I hope all of his victims n their loved ones get the help they need.

I pick Lennox but in fairness in addition to power Ike also had an iron chin and a high workrate. Good pressure fighter.

There has been a lot of Ike threads lately. Wonder why.

Vitali and Lewis clearly beat Ibeabuchi, but against everyone else he would do well and possibly be the favourite.

Holyfield and Tyson were both faded after 2000s, Wladimir was still green, and I don't really see any other Heavyweight troubling him.

Byrd is legit 6’2, I sparred Byrd and I’m 6’1 and he’s slightly taller.
