Tarver vs Bivol

We need to see Bivol against an elite light heavy.

 

Not totally certain. But if Chad Dawson could outbox Tarver I’m thinking Bivol has a shot

 

I’m a Bivol fan would like to see him fight Beterbiev…although it would seem even his best days r going. Boxing is in a poor state that it can’t get the best fighters to actually meet. How can I say Bivol would beat anyone as he hasn’t fought the best LHW of his own era?

 

Bivol would beat Tarver with the basic 1-2

 

Antonio Tarver caught Roy Jones Jr at the right place, at the right time. Dmitry Bivol has a very impressive one sided victory over Canelo Alvarez. Bivol is headed for stardom, Tarver could have reached his potential. As another talented poster alluded to, Bivol needs a few more big fights to reach his potential.

 

But Antonio Tarver did not last long, his resume did not help him. Bivol does need a few more big fights to earn his stripes.

 

Tarver was almost forty.

 

I think Bivol probably gets a decision.
