Jack Dempsey V Andrew Golota?

Golota might look good in the first two or three rounds, but he is a mental mess, so he would not be able to deal with Dempsey's rawness and aggressiveness, and he would be knocked out in the later rounds...

It'll be a good scrap in the beginning rounds but will ultimately end up being a battle of illegal shots. Dempsey being an old school boxer most likely holds more tools in the tool box of dirty tactics. I Have Dempsey winning by DQ because in this fight that's the only way to win.

As I was reading through the thread I thought the same thing myself Bob.

Good chance it does go there - and if he doesn’t initiate the dirty tactics himself, the old Mauler would be more than happy in and capable of reciprocating - though I don’t think Jack was every guilty of biting.

Suffice to say, before fighting one another, both men should ensure that they’ve already had all the kids they intend or want to have - their nuts might not be worth sh*t after they fight.

Just put ‘em in jar and let them atrophy in their respective trophy cabinets.

 

Well, as I'm not into pickled nuts in a jar as you describe, even though a little garlic might make it taste better. Tetanus shots cure bites.
At this point I think Dempsey has a better chance of infecting Golota with Syphilis then Golota has a chance of infecting Dempsey with rabies.

 

I'd guarantee that if (or when) the Foul Pole hit Dempsey in the nuts Jack would immediately sink a left hook so hard into Golatas privates that people in Warsaw would feel dizzy for a moment or two.

 

It could be said that Dempsey applied far more “Polish” to his fouls than Golota did.

With calm, old pro savvy, Jack knew when to hold ‘em and knew when to throw ‘em.

If Dempsey was doing modern training and nutrition he’d tear the Golata apart. If Golata trains like the 1920s , he’d just be a big target, and we saw what happens.
