76-73 Tommy Fury. Paul still needs to learn his timing, he was all over the place and Tommy made him pay.
Fury worked pretty well behind the jab. Should've doubled it up more. He made Paul miss with wide swings. I thought Fury won. Obviously both guys are still young so they can still learn but I don't think they will reach the highest level. I was entertained though.
The fight went almost identical to the script. The only difference is Fury got up from the knock down in the last round. Did anyone see the so called leaked script. Maybe they changed it because of the leak? Seemed very dodgey.
Honestly I only gave Jake 2 rounds if you don't count those BS point deductions. It was a close fight due to those point swings, Jake legit could of had two 10-8 rounds and could of won on the cards. Glad the right man won though.
2 part time fighters just put on a fun (albeit scrappy) show, It was exciting to watch and the build up was excellent. The fact that this was an 8 round fight and neither have a ranking makes it even more impressive. This brings new fans to the sport and unlike what the other YouTubers are doing, at least had an air of legitimacy. Kudos to both.
They can't use 50 years old MMA bums anymore though Nnnangaou Vs Tyson is the only one possible. If Tommy was 28 years like Jake and held the weight properly he'd have battered him tonight but he's top heavy from his roids and still immature physically.
Jake Paul has the rematch clause and said he will run it back with Fury. He did knock Fury down in rnd 8 with a jab, so will have momentum going into the rematch. Who you got?
Agreed. Too many sour pusses in life determined to not enjoy things. It was engaging throughout, what more do you want? These celebrity boxing type things fill a little niche in the sport. As long as they fully commit to the sport (not just rock up for 1 fight then vanish) I dont have an issue.
