Jake is tough and did well to grind his way back into the fight despite speed, size and skill disadvantages…helped by Tommy’s glass mandible

Fury isn't at area level it seems. He just scraped by Paul and got knocked down and rocked a few times.

He secured a nice pay day now though, so he won't be depending on Molly as much.

 

Why are the BT studio pundits taking this so seriously ?

 

I thought Tommy was absolutely **** tbh. Moves backwards with his hands down and that’s why he is repeatedly tagged by left hooks. Paul’s punches, especially his jabs, are all telegraphed yet Tommy repeatedly tagged in the face and put down from a jab. Tommy also has zero power. He only really had success when he tripled his jab but had nothing coming off it. Two absolute novices. Given that Tommy has been boxing since he was a young teenager, he is distinctly poor.

The only impressive thing about Fury was his fitness. Very too heavy and overmuscled yet he had far better stamina and output.

 

Carl Froch is a top draw pundit.

 

In fairness they're debating whether Fury does this properly or makes a few bob off Youtubers. I'd give it up altogether if it was me, cos he might not beat the Youtubers forever.

Both came out with more props than going into it for me. Tommy done what he had to do and looked slightly better than i thought he would and the youtube kid took his share of hits and still stuck around.

I think tommys got half decent potential if he was serious about the game at a lower level anyway. If he wasnt a fury and he turned up at 23...you,d be thinking he looks not too bad. More versatile than a lot of prospects.

Think paul would be as well going back to fighting hand picked opponents because furys a good bit better than the guys hes been fighting.

 

From this I have concluded that Fury is worse than I originally thought. I did think it would be a lot less competitive. Fury can fight all these Youtubers and make a lot of easy money.

 

Because if they said what they thought they'd never be allowed into another press area.

Fury very much looks bad.

BT pundits always keep it to the boxing and don’t give predictable input like dazn and Sky both networks just sell and propagate
