So essentially the bottom tier has about 50% of tickets left, this can't be what Matchroom had hoped.

Also someone on twitter said, the stubhub relationship ends, so the FV of AJ tickets go up 50% and then the panic demand stops and tickets don't get sold. Shock horror.

It will be sold out by fight night though. Nobody outside of big events are going to sell out quickly in this climate if at all. I think Eddie maybe nervous though that the proposed AJ-Whyte 2 this summer might be seen as abit of a dud (which it is really) as Dillian looks washed and the rivalry is over really.

That’s why I believe they might not want to risk it and go after the Saudi money instead for a Wilder fight or something.

And stick Whyte on the Saudi undercard with a reasonably big name (Chisora 3!) to keep him happy...

Against any decent Champion or live contender - 2% at best

Some will say i am crazy, but i say yes, it is AJ isn't it, delicate around the chin and vulnerable.

This is a very similar to the fight when Dubois won his 'World Title' v Trevor Bryan

Both opponents are simply cannon fodder for any live fighter in the other corner and neither Whyte or Franklin can be considered as future World Champions in 10 lifetimes.

Whyte and Franklin are a couple of plodding sluggers so Joshua should win by early stoppage assuming he is not finished himself after 3 defeats.

Exactly my thoughts,it will sell out come fight night. Times are tough financially and its not a great opponent but the lack of initial demand must be alarming them. Based on this if they had plans for AJ vs Whyte 2 in a stadium like Wembley I wouldn't of thought it would come anywhere close to being full, the drop off on popularity for AJ is considerable and Whyte doesn't even draw the casuals anymore after a few defeats and not being promoted to the wider audience on sky sports news etc

Actually amazed at how many left, I think the problem was Joshua was an influencer as much as a boxer and once you lose the glitz and glam, people move on with time too, he attracted the lads lads that wanted to be him and the girls that wanted to ride him, now Tommy Fury has almost taken that audience in the last few weeks

I don’t buy that a boxer who has had 27 fights in the heavyweight division and has been stopped once has a delicate chin.

Both have one glaringly obvious thing in common
How many times has he been hit clean and started wobbling? I count 5 boxers who have done it and every time he’s wobbled. Counting blokes like Cornish who couldn’t put their fist within two feet of him isn’t exactly relevant is it

He’s finished. Had his big moment against 41 year old half finished Klitschko who’d already been stopped thrice by dossers without having been put down by him and much quicker too
