There is a chance that we could get a fight between Hrgovic and Joshua. Filip is still looking for an opponent to fight for the IBF interim title. If we go down the rankings, we already have Ruiz and Wilder rejecting the fight against Hrgovic. The next fighter to get the chance would be Joshua at number 5. Do you guys think this fight will get made, if Joshua is victorious against Franklin? Who would win the fight between Hrgovic and Joshua?
This would be a great fight, if it were to happen, I would say that it is a 50-50 fight, Joshua has more experience and more big fights behind him, but Hrgovic could find a chance in the fact that Joshua is no longer on the same mental level as before, of course that can change if Joshua beats Franklin, but I would still prefer that before that fight Hrgovic fights an easy opponent, because a fight with Joshua is a high-risk fight and the outcome can go either way...
Joshua will surely face Hrgovic in 2023 or 2024 if the latter does not lose before. I see it for the vacant IBF title.
Hrgovic too easy to hit. If Old Bang Zhang managed to give Hrgovic the what-for then AJ is going to wreck his world. I don't fancy Hrgovic's chin anymore, and AJ has become terribly underrated all of a sudden. I see him as the #3 man at heavy.
Judging by your comments, Hrgovic is an easy opponent for Joshua, then let the fight happen because there is no risk and Joshua has no reason not to accept that fight...
Stylistically, it would be an exciting fight ... similar to Joshua-Wlad. Hrgovic has that classic, Eastern European, standup-style without all the Wlad clinching. Unlike a lot of people, I was impressed with Hrgovic against Zhang. Whether people thought he won or lost, it was one of those trials-by-fire fighters have to get through. Hrgovic throws more punches and is more resilient than Wlad was when Joshua faced him. And I don't think Joshua is the same fighter he was then. So I'd probably lean toward Filip. Hope it gets made. Joyce-Zhang and Hrgovic-Joshua. Two really good ones on paper.
Hrgović - he is overrated just as Joshua. I lean to Hrgović, his motivation will definitely be stronger than Joshua's who is going for an easy win. Its a life fight for Filip, so I'm sure if he loses, he will go out on his shield. Joshua had more big high level pro fights, but Filip could have more experience if we look at his amateur career and the few seasons he boxed WSB where elite-level amateur (and some pro) boxers fight for 5 rounds under pro rules. He looks like a caveman, and his boxing is not passing the eye test, but I'm sure he didn't put all his skills on display. This fight will be the one that he will have to show that class.
This has absolutely nothing to do with the topic. You aren't responding to anything someone else posted and didn't mention either guy the topic is about. You just can't comment on anything without trying to make it about Fury.
Aw do I have to draw the lines for wittle baby fencik. I didn't just say that yes it could happen soon but I also explained how and why all in one sentence and you threw the rattle out of the pram. Is it time for a diaper change?
