Had Fury not signed the rematch clause he may not have got the fight and would have been at greater risk of being robbed. Usyk didn't want to sign a rematch clause against Joshua but remember the threats Hearn was making? Do you defend those A-side tactics too? Facts reveal that Fury schooled A-side champ Wlad 8-4/9-3 on the cards in his backyard while taking the fewest punches over 12 rounds from a champion ever. The fight was not competitive and people would have given Fury little credit for doing it again. And given Wlad's attitude to Fury, why would Fury want to give him another shot? Let the pos stew in it. Screw Wlad and his "contracts", which were always designed to give him maximal advantage over his opponents.
@Redbeard7 Wladimir Klitschko is an Olympic gold medalist and he has reigned as an unified heavyweight champion for a decade. Fury, on the other hand has 0 (zero) medals. He is known for cherry picking his opponents (Seferi, Schwarz, Pianeta, Wallin, Whyte, Chisora, Hammer). He is also known for ducking his opponents (Klitschko). I watched the match again, very carefully, after you insisted that Fury schooled Klitschko. There was no schooling at all. In the first 5 rounds, Fury didn't lang a single paw on Klitschko, whereas Klitschko were the active boxer and landed a lot on Fury. It was a draw. My scoring: Klitschko: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 Fury: 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12
Difference between Usyk and Fury: Fury signs a contract with a rematch and then breaks down like a little girl and snorts his way through a mountain of cocaine at the thought of facing Angry Wlad. Usyk signs a contract with a rematch, whips AJ decisively and views the rematch as an opportunity to make a statement: it was not a fluke. Only losers and chicken-lovers defend Fury's actions here. A shameful and pathetic show by Fatty.
The man that beat the man on away soil Is to s**t all over it now, but to beat a 10 year unbeaten super champ when nobody gave you a prayer is a fantastic win
One of the worst heavyweight title fights in history. Neither man did ****. I had Fury narrowly edging it, but, it was an AWFUL performance by both men. I would watch again to check my score, but, from what I remember watching it live, this is a fight that never merits a second viewing.
8 out of 10. 1 year earlier it would have been 10 out of 10, but Waldo had clearly faded in the Jenkins fight. Still the best current win at HW though
How does a stamina limited Jab and grabber beat Fury? HE CAN'T! EVER! He has NOTHING to beat Fury with! Stick to pushing midgets over.
