Sylvia was done. It was 2 past it names in an obscure promotion and the chips fell the roght way for him. It s like saying it s embarassing for boxing fans that a former olympic medallist and very good pro got chocked out by a street fighter no?
Kickboxing is not MMA. He went 1-1 in MMA, and I thought he was in his 30s, he was almost 50. That's insane. I mean he was losing boxing matches to football players by then, and he still KOd Silva. That's actually a lot more impressive than I thought
I just saw Greg Hardy had a 100 pound advantage over Hasim. So I have some sympathy there. But for some reason, I don't think it should have mattered if Rahman had actual boxing talent. Any talented boxer would have crushed Hardy. Hardy looked out of shape and can't box for **** from what I see in that video.
Oh ****. I thought he was 40 or something. And Tim was still pretty young if I am not mistaken, I think he was in his early 30s. Just really obese.
Are you kidding? Mercer was like 50. I mean that's like saying MMA looks bad because a YouTuber KOd the spider guy. On that note, spider man is lucky it wasn't an MMA match with the older Paul bro.
Kidding with what? Mercer turned pro ar like 30 he was always okd in age. I guess you are trying to say Sylvia was in his prime and got destroyed by a old Mercer right? That’s BS.
It is embarrassing to think that Fury could just learn to defend against a takedown and beat Jon Jones. As others said above. 95% of the time they win at their own discipline. There is the odd exception
The word is that Sylvia agreed to a "gentleman agreement" to stand with Mercer. Whether that's true or not.... who knows? But throwing a lazy lowkick like that against anyone who can punch is really dumb move, and Sylvia payed for it. It's amazing though that people still use this clip in an attempt to discredit MMA without applying any sort of context, and then ignoring how all of the other boxing vs. MMA freakshows played out.
