This fight could have happened had Mayorga gotten the decision against Cory Spinks when they fought. Cory Spinks would be the one to fight Judah twice later on. Had Judah and Mayorga met in 2004 how do you think this could have gone? The same Mayorga that was Vernon Forrest's boogeyman before he met Trinidad would definitely have been a nightmare for Judah IMO.

Now that is what I call an original fantasy fight, good job neighbor. The fighter known as Tramp in his native city of St. Louis has a good chance to upset Ricardo Mayorga, he would stay away from his aggressive rushes and out box him over the distance to win on points.

60/40 Judah. The 40 being of Judah got nailed on the chin or abandoned his game plan.

The loss to Baldomir was dumb, but did eek out a win over Matthysse while Matthysse was prime and Judah was past it.

I think Mayorga would get to Judah and stop him.

Zab had blazing fast hands and good power, so he’s dangerous early, but Mayorga took a good punch. Mayorga was very awkward and unorthodox, but that also added to the unpredictability.

He would probably land some looping shots that hurt Zab, and Zab would get more defensive and go into a bit of a shell and look for one punch (maybe the left uppercut). Going into a shell might help him last the distance, but I think he gets stopped.

I’d have to go with Mayorga.

I think Mayorga looks dumb and slow for the first 4 or 5 rounds. He would probably get blasted by a few counter uppercuts and straight lefts, but hurts Judah and stops him sometime after round 8 (more than likely Judah quits). I think the rough house tactics and macho bravado from Mayorga would definitely mess with Judah's head.

Tough fight to call. I could see Mayorga grinding him down but then again Judah is far superior in the skill department. Can Judah maintain the discipline to win a decision against the crude Mayorga? I don't think Judah can hurt Mayorga but I'm positive Mayorga can hurt Judah.

Mayorga by late stoppage after getting clowned at times by the speed and skill of Judah.

The prefight skirmishes before that one would've been epic. Two legit hot heads. They may have had to do the line of security guards down the middle of the ring for the introductions like Lewis-Tyson.

I'd go with Mayorga. At that time, Ricardo was dangerous as all hell.

(Side note, I was at the Mayorga-Piccirillo title fight and met Zab Judah back stage. He was there because his brother was fighting on the undercard. I don't think he and Mayorga crossed paths that night, though. Mayorga was pretty amped up.)
