An up and coming American middlleweight whose record stands at 8 - 0. He's also Muhammad Ali's grandson. Has anybody seen him fight yet on youtube or any other channel?
Looks an fights nothing like Ali. If there were no Ali connection, no one would look twice at him.Proof that unlike many sports, bloodline isn’t a big factor in boxing. Boxers ain’t like racehorses
He's getting a lot of notoriety because of his story. I've seen him fight a few times but at this point he's just a prospect. He could surprise us but half the time in today's boxing game, heart will tell. Let's see how he does when he's faced with a bit of adversity or if he loses the undefeated price tag. Will he just pack it in or do what the greats of the game did and put their nose back to the grindstone.
I like the kid. Iv seen 4 of hs fights and he does go for the finish. He said he wants to be an exciting fighter to watch like Ali was. Outside of the ring he seems down to earth.
I am friends with the guy that found his opponent for his fight on the Lomachenko under card; if you look at the guy he fought and where he is from you can get an idea of how that happened. About a year ago that same match maker needed a 168 pound guy for a fight in Canada on short notice; since I live close to Canada he called me. I suggested the guy that ended up fighting Walsh. He was turned down because his record wasn't good enough. In making this match for Walsh they were looking for an easy win, a blowout ko. Nobody thinks that he is a good fighter, nobody thinks that he will ever be "great". But everybody thinks that there is money to be made off of Ali's grandson.
