    After the fight, talk turned to Bakole and his plans. The 29-year-old said he wanted to face Dubois next, but that he had made the mistake of putting him off in sparring – and the same goes for Usyk.

    “Daniel Dubois is the fight I want. I’ve sparred him twice and I stopped him twice in sparring. He knows that. If we fight, I think I stop him in the first or second round.”

    “I’m calling him out and I want him to be ready for me. I want that fight, I can’t wait. People are hiding because they don’t want to fight me because i made the mistake from sparring them in the gym … Even Usyk, I stopped him in sparring in Dubai, he knows that.”

    That's nothing, I stopped Foreman in sparring, I stopped Usyk three times and he knows that, I even stopped Joyce a few times. I didn't record any of it of course

    Knocking someone out it Sparring doesn't mean much. I mean come on, in their camps the champs often fight 5 different boxers in a 15 rounder..
    Fury likes doing that, ofc. you are exhausted and your sparring partners are coming in with 100%

    I believe him. It only counts if you do it in a sanctioned fight though, Martin. We've seen more than a few take a tumble in sparring from time to time. Particularly in the H/W division.

    I've heard sparring stories where the plumber would spar 15 to 20 rounds and very quick pace and his opponents couldn't keep up. Only rumours mind you :risas3:.

    The trouble with young Daniel having a belt is he has to defend it. Would not shock me if he vacates to avoid Bakole.

    If you know how some of top boxers spar, you would think that every HW has a chance to stop other. why ? For example Usyk trains with fresh guy every 3 rounds and with 4 minutes per round and only 30 seconds of rest.

    I heard that Martin Bakole got stopped by a cruiserweight called Michael Hunter. No wait, I saw that happen.

    No idea if it's true or not.
