Usyk accepts 70/30 deal, the fight is on!

I see two options if it actually is a 70-30. Either that it's only the live gate and the PPV is evenly split, or that Fury did what he could to wriggle out of it and Usyk accepted shameful terms just to make the fight.

Because 70-30 overall is a joke. That's what Chisora and Whyte (at least) had.

 

I think a June date looks like a possibility. It's one of the few months of the year in the UK that decent weather is likely - it's also light until very late and the football season has finished. Usyk stays ready all the time, so I don't think any movement of 8 weeks or so will make much difference to him.

I think Fury keeps up training to some degree all the time, despite what he says. He clearly ups the intensity when a fight is approaching though. He's obviously stepped it up this week given that his nutritionist is here. I'll only really believe he's in camp when Sugar Hill comes over.

I've gone for Fury by stoppage in the poll, as he is the much bigger man with good skills and in fighting up close, but it would not surprise me in the least if Usyk puts on a superb boxing masterclass and outpoints fury, I don't see him stopping him though.

Rematch and all that bollocks... Pretty standard stuff... He acts like he has never been involved with arranging a fight...

Looks to me he is looking for a reason not to fight....

If it goes ahead with no rematch one of two things...
- He wins and continues making millions beating youtube starts and UFC fighters...
- He loses and retires with a whimper.
