Fury seems genuinely rattled. Hope he doesn’t try to use his quickly unraveling mind to get out of the fight. I expect a little more dignity from a HW champ. He’s more like a pro wrestling champ who forgot to take his meds.

I say this as a Fury fan for most of his career. I’ve rooted for him in all his fights so far. Rooting for Usyk this time because he’s more likable and he seems more sane. Plus, I like his no nonsense style. Fights in opponent’s backyard, doesn’t act like a diva or a punk.

Right now, I’m 50/50 that this fight will even happen.

Doubt it... Fury is trying to get out of it.... Without looking like he is trying to get out of it.... And failing miserably.... PR disaster and annoying everyone apart from die hard one eye Fury supporter.

Strange isn't it that the negotiations for AJ vs Usyk (twice) were easy & concluded very quickly with NO protracted drama but when either of them try to make a fight with Luke greedy belly Fury, its like trying to get blood out of a stone?

The common denominator for the AJ v Fury fight not happening & like we are seeing with Usyk now is Luke Fury (who is terrified of getting in the ring with Usyk & is doing everything in his power to duck the fight).

I'd be ashamed & embarrassed to call myself a Fury fan & many are finally waking up now to the fact that this spartan, fighting, gypsy warrior is nothing but a cowardly, mental midget.

So why should they strip Fury again?

Fury just defended his WBC belt three months ago. The WBC got their big sanctioning fee from him. They're happy.

Unifying is an optional defense. If Fury doesn't want to make an optional defense, then the WBC will just ask him to make a mandatory defense against Wilder again (who is #1), or Ruiz (who is #2) or Frank Sanchez (who is #3).

Fighters don't annoy me as much as fans who want everyone stripped if the fighter doesn't do exactly what they want them to.

Tyson Fury is the heavyweight champion. Every last belt Usyk has was "taken away" from Fury without beating him.

If YOU (the challenger) want to become the actual World Heavyweight Champion, then YOU (the challenger) need to figure out a way to get him in the ring and, once you do, beat him.

Make concessions, do what it takes. Because there is always someone right behind you willing to make those concessions to get their shot.

Honestly, ACTUAL FIGHTERS (no matter how badly they shoot off their mouths) don't tend to screw up the sport ... those who desperately crave power so they strip one fighter, give belts to other fighters, deliver bad scorecards and generally get involved and try to take control ...

Those are the people who screw up the sport.

But you are wrong... Usyk is not the challenger... They are both world champ in their own right...

Usyk knows he's the challenger. We all do.

Fury didn't get any his belts from Usyk.

But all of Usyk's belonged to Fury ... and then some "geniuses" outside the ring decided to take each away from him and give it to someone else.

Nobody beat Fury for ANY of them. All those heavyweight belts Usyk has are in Fury's trophy case at home.

They took it after a long time... Because he was inactive... And basically retired.... That is on Fury...

Right. Like the IBF stripped Fury 10 whole days after beating Wlad. Ring did them one better and handed Usyk their belt 24 hours (if that) after Fury told them he was retiring ... and then, before they even got the judges official cards in the Usyk-Joshua rematch, Fury got on social media and said "I'm back."

Fury fought twice as many times as Usyk last year ... the year Ring thought Fury was "retired."

There's always some clown outside the ring who wants to feel like he's in control. The people who pull stupid moves like that are the ones who screw up the sport.

99.9 percent of the bad situations in boxing can be traced back to some moron outside the ring who got in the way.
