Why does everyone say Lennox would destroy RJJ when Roy himself said he'd beat Lennox in this video?

Lewis would have beaten everybody Jones ever fought.

 

Not in a million years could Jones beat Lennox.

It's funny, but I met Roy Jones once and I couldn't get over how small his head was. Jim Lampley isn't a huge guy or anything, but you can see in that interview when they are looking at each other how much smaller Roy's head is than Lampley's.

Roy Jones didn't have a big skeleton. He was a smallish person who packed on a lot of muscle. He really had the frame of a middleweight.

And I contrast that by recalling the first time I saw Lennox Lewis in person, and you see him and you immediately grasp how that guy could beat anyone in the world. I've seen larger human beings, but when Lewis was fighting and he walked into a room, it was like everyone psychologically knew "the world champ" was here.

Roy could've taken all the PEDs on earth, and he wasn't going to be able to pull it off.

 

Because Roid Jones Jr had an insanely inflated opinion of himself and his capabilities.

Too much of a size advantage for Roy to overcome, obviously. And Roy knew that which was why he never seriously pursued that fight.

 

After all these years like Mike Tyson,rjj still gets his praise he wouldn't fight Lewis he was just gas lighting and let the record reflect he chose Ruiz instead of Holyfield.

 

Him and Ward battle it out for the top spot.

The reason 95% of members (at a guess, and not on a trip tab) here would say Lewis (prime) would destroy Jones (prime) is because that's exactly what would have happened had they ever fought.

The topic is bordering on being totally ridiculous. And trust me, I do like a giraffe personally.

 

If Lennox Lewis had a good HW chin, then maybe people could be completely sure.
He should win with his incredible advantages, but people shouldn't be so sure.
While Lewis is getting one-punched by McCall, Jones always has a shot to land something accurate enough to concuss him and then follow it up if he doesn't KO him.
Look what happened with Ruiz Jr and AJ.
These big HWs all hate 'fast hands', which just means hand speed typical middleweights have.
Could Lewis take the shots Ruiz did against Jones? Maybe, maybe not.
