Same here. And if anyone says they had it the opposite way, I won´t really argue. It was a close fight.

No one was talking about the first fight, it's just taken your brain long to register that.

Then it's very concerning that after all those years your comprehension remains stagnant Casual, your words,

I don't remember discussing anything with you on here before you got all bent out of shape & started addressing me with your big boy words as a stan/casual (way to go btw) so don't cry now.

That's all he will be remembered for. He took zero risks when he was younger, no one should be surprised that he's bailing at this age.

I think people are starting to accept that his resume is pathetic compared to what he got paid.

After his last showing, he started to get no mercy and was quickly looked at as the money grab that he truly was.

Remember now, Golovkin's entire marketing campaign was exploding on twitter from 2013 onwards. Their strrategy was to deceive clueless casuals on twitter and eventually handpick a safe big payday against a smaller opponent. Casuals don't even know what a smaller opponent means in Boxing.

It worked for him and he scored the payday However, in the long run, he will hardly be remembered since there's nothing worth remembering him for. You can scroll back 10 years ago and you'll see that we said the exact same thing but got hated for it.

The irony is that Andre Ward did it the hard way, and retired rather than sticking around for cash grabs, but he gets the hate.

He risked defending his world titles 23 times, winning 21, losing 1, drawing 1, and knocking out 20.

He won't be remembered for this though, because he didn't beat a champion to win his title, didn't meet a live body until Proksa in his fifth defense, and had a farcical second reign while Canelo was the real champion.

Ginger threatened to knock him out & retire him in the third fight . That never happened either .
An over 40 GGG gave Ginger too much respect in that fight & boxed him which Ginger punched air If GGG had started to fight a round or two earlier he'd likely have stopped Ginger . When that bell went Ginger was exhausted he could not have gone two more rounds GGG the old man was fresh as a daisy
The only good thing that came out of the GGG-Canelo trilogy was GGG was very well paid & though he was robbed blind Ginger could not hurt him. The fans & boxing people know what really happened & who really was the better fighter , Gennadiy Golovkin not the cash cow Ginger Alvarez
