If Fury wants to wait Usyk out he is making a big mistake. Fury's diet of pies, chips and little people is going to mess him up much worse than Usyk "gym rat" will slow down. I predict Fury is gonna lose to a nobody and his mind will implode.

That’s the last defence of Fury fans. Let’s suppose it won’t get announced (because it won’t). What then? Will you guys finally admit that Fury is a coward and he never had any intentions about fighting Usyk? Or will you jump on the narrative that Fury will no doubt be pushing about how “the middleweight didn’t even wait until that WBA deadline of 1st of April to pull out, he ducked the Gypsy King”? I presume it’s the latter.

Klimas and Kim are both no nonsense straight shooters with a proven history of always telling how it is. They are the opposite of the Warren-type of mind game playing slimy con men. If Klimas says to Kim it’s off then Kim reports about it - it’s off and as good as an official statement.

I'm seeing an April 1 deadline by WBC. Would be nice if we stuck to that before announcements

I dunno, man. I like to factor in track records when judging people's words and deeds. When has Usyk ever done anything remotely close to what you suggest? Seems so out of character. Whereas, Fury? He does this kind of thing all the time.

He likes to play power games in the build-up to fights - in fact, I'd argue he sees it as a key part of the battle - and you either give him free reign like Wilder prior to the third fight, or Whyte before they fought or you bite back and play him at his own game.

The ever-decreasing purse split - power move. The accepting of 70/30 but with conditions - was taking back some control by inserting the donation clause; a sort of dance to my tune riposte. It boxed Fury into a corner because he couldn't shift it once again to 80/20 and since then pretty much radio silence from Fury other than some faked training.

No way this fight takes place on April 29 - that's only five weeks away. Coin toss it ever takes place. Would be happy to be wrong on both counts...

It's shameful that Oleksander chose to duck Fury like this. I will never watch another Usyk fight ever again in my life.

I wish I could share that optimism. But if Klimas comes out with a statement like that, then that's it. They are the ones in the know, they are the ones seeing what's going on. They are the ones Fury has been dicking around with. And it really can't be stressed out enough how Klimas or Kim have never been they guys to say stuff just for the sake of saying them.

I knew you would be one of the handful of members writing **** like that :D

The others are Thunderstorm, miniq and MAD_DUCK of course, maybe with the additional backup dancers of Leeroy84, DaRealJT and AdamT (I put the maybe there as, unlike your good self, these latter guys have shown glimpses of objectivity before).

Such as Fury is not really younger than Usyk and his body is more damaged because of the lifestyle. So how about a fourth reason starting with Usyk? Just for the theory of possibilities, they aren't nonexistent if one comes out of the bias.

If I look at a scenario where each fighter takes his path and goes victorious, a later date in 2023 won't be much easier, at least I think so. But I don't even want to assume, it's pointless and leads us to have rude discussions we don't need to do this way. Whatever happens - so be it. Prefer to analyze it after it happened.
