Is Anthony Joshua under a serious amount of pressure?

Well it's a 1,000 tickets unsold that they confident will be sold out come fight night.

There will be pressure for AJ to beat in an impressive manner which I think he will be confident in doing so.

After AJ beats Franklin there's limited opposition he could fight next.

Usyk beat ihn back to back fights and won't be interested.

Fury has had no intention of ever fighting AJ and has more interest in fighting the likes of Charr.

After that the next best available is Joyce. If that's a fight that can't be done then the likes of Hrgovic, Hunter, Bakole and Makhmudov.

Whyte could put himself back in contention if he stops Wallin in impressive fashion.

AJ didn't get the credit he deserved for beating Ruiz last time so there's no point in fighting Ruiz again at present

After that there's no one suitable.

Sounds like he’s struggling to sell tickets for this one.
What’s the capacity of the o2?

Wrong, there's upwards of 2,500 UNSOLD tickets still available and we know from a good source MR are worried so they are substantially discounting the tickets.

Heavy pressure on his shoulders which is telling in his choice of words - media trained aj has gone out the window.

The press conference next week will bring back bad memories.

Joshua has plenty of opposition in Fury, Joyce, Dubois, Wilder, Bakole, Hunter, Hrgovic but we know it's DUCK SEASON for Joshua. He'll fight an in house fighter like Dillian Whyte, which won't sell.

Joshua has 3 losses and counting, maybe 4 losses come the night of April 1st. Non pay per view fight (Not showing in the pubs?)

Anthony Joshua admits to ducking Tyson Fury in the latest Michael Benson tweet.

For what its worth i spoke to a contact at the O2 he seems to think their is currently between 1-2k tickets unsold but said theres no major worrries as they will be gone by the night.

Still its weird to think he hasnt immediately sold out the O2, think its more to do with his opposition tbh

Mate im no AJ fan or hater, i think he is a 2 dimensional fighter but what he is good at he is very good at, what he is poor at get exploited easily but why on earth are you saying he just admitted he ducked Fury ? Ive looked through Bensons tweets and nothing there at all about ducking Fury. We all know that the duck here is Fury.

You think AJ has a meltdown PRE fight this time around? Final presser or weigh in seem the most likely suspects

I said exact same thing about Ruiz, I remember laughing when I saw the 1st weigh in...we know how that ended. I genuinely believe we may see an Oliver mccall somewhere along the line with Joshua

He'll be under pressure for the rest of his career given the expectations the mainstream audience had of him in his earlier days.

Here, let me help your eyes. Joshua is a specialist when it comes to ducking.

Don’t think that counts really - he’s talking about Fury in the context of how difficult he is to negotiate with.. which we’ve all seen.

Lool so ypu read this as ducking ? Shows your bias, he is saying he isnt going to wait around for a guy who has shown no interest in fighting

He's under some pressure, of course. He got beaten by Ruiz, then Usyk proved he's a better fighter. Now he struggles to sell tickets for his fight, but it's a fight he shouldn't have taken, as there's nothing impressive about after so many years of ballooning his image - he must prove else by taking someone a bit better. He still has a chance though - beat Franklin and go for Wilder, Fury, Joyce, at worst Hrgovic - just some top name he didn't fight already.

Hahaha! Great fights, yeah, like Franklin! That's a duck.
