    He suffered a detached retina and that ended his career.

    a very solid euro level fighter was Horace. I remember his fights v Hughroy Currie x 2, Lister, Dean Waters, Proud Kilimanjaro et al.
    Also had a fine win against Anaclet Wamba. Perhaps a little small at around 206lbs but could have featured in good Euro title fights and him vs Damiani would have been a good fight........not saying he would have won but he was certainly better than the likes of Manfred Jassmann, Steffan Tangstad and a past it Alfredo Evangalista
