Fury has stopped this fight from happening and allowed the whole division to open up without him (potentially). He’s literally given Hearn a chance to scatter the belts and take one for his guys. Usyk may be stripped of a belt or two and AJ will be wearing one soon enough. Fury isn’t the draw he thinks he is, I’ve always said that. He’s the best in the division but had fought two plodders back to back and 5 or 6 of his last 8 fights he was huge favorite to win (Schwartz, pianetta, wallin etc) his reign is on par with Kell Brooks. What’s his next move? Surely it’s made already but it won’t be as big as Usyk/AJ/Joyce. Ruiz is a good opponent if he’s marking time for a big fight but he ain’t getting 20M from anyone to fight Ruiz.
