How's this for a line-up, WaR? We'll have so much bling soon we won't be able to close the lid on the Australian Boxing Bling Box. Maybe we could borrow a box from the Kiwis? Theirs currently isn't in use.

disappointing browne couldn't get the win.
he was able to hit miller pretty much whenever he wanted but still couldn't get the ko.
gave it everything he had at least, just wasn't good enough, no shame in that.
don't know who browne should target next. maybe some up and coming uk fighters? he can help sell tickets over there, he's well enough known and can get some decent paydays probably.

 

Only wants a couple of fights before retiring. McKean makes a lot of sense and I’m still convinced Lucas walks through him.

 

I agree Lucas will spark him but I think Parker might get to McKean first.

 

We are going to be seeing double when Moloney boys come back with the belts.

Still waiting to see the Paul Fleming vs Charly Suarez fight. The philipinos as usual when one of their countryman fight have spammed the youtube with BS videos about the fight but so far havent seen the full fight anywhere.

 

Didn't see it but you should stick with your Terzievski pick. He's fighting at home, has the experience of the Gallen fight behind him & has plenty of incentive to win. Winning the Commonwealth title usually means a trip to the UK to drop it to the highest bidder but this time around it could land him a fight with the likes of Justis Huni, Joseph Parker or Demsey McKean.

I'm going with Django b/c he always gives it his all. He was competitive defending the national title against Justis Huni, was ahead on points against Lucas Browne until Big Daddy dropped the hammer & consistently out-worked Hemi Ahio until the ref stopped it. A Commonwealth title would be a fitting reward for years of hard graft.

 

There has to be film of it somewhere because I've seen a clip of the knock down.

Not sure if Kris had been rocked earlier in the round or he was completely out of gas but Django was all over him.

Terzievski looked sharp early against Gallen but faded badly late. He says that was because of the short training camp, so that shouldn't be a problem tonight because they have had a long time since this was announced.

I'm picking Django to stop him aswell, not with a high level of confidence.

 

David Light made weight comfortably. Looks in good shape.

Hoping to see some calamari served up tomorrow morning.

 

I still want to see him fight Alex Leapai. Even now, Alex would get up off the lounge and bust him..

Light will impress everyone with his toughness and heart, and hopefully he won't make it an easy night for Okolie. Light kind of hit the wall at Glanton level. I'd like to see that rematch after this. Okolie wins via late KO

 

The battle of the perfectly egg- shaped heads on the undercard in Dinu and Clarke will be interesting until Dinu remembers he's a perennial loser and collapses.

 

He will try harder than Booker but won't last as long.
