I feel like Jones and GSP have been generally regarded as the top 2 nowadays, but who has the better resume?

Jones resume can be argued to be filled with former MWs, I would favor Jon’s in terms of name value.

GSP’s wins over Fitch, Koscheck x2, Shields, Bisping, Hughes x2, Serra, Hardy, Alves, Condit, Diaz, Trigg, and BJ Penn x2 are very good to argue with

Probably Jones, although the Reyes 'win' was worse than the Hendricks 'win' imo

Also, beating Gane a division above after a hiatus will be a better achievement than beating Bisping a division above after a hiatus

Either way, I think Jones should end his career beating Gane, Stipe and then a Ngannou/Pavlovich-like figure. Would cement him as the GOAT, and due to how homogenised the UFC has become, I doubt his career will ever be beaten

All of that said, it genuinely wouldn't surprise me if Jones comes out next Saturday and looks absolutely terrible

I don’t like Jon Jone but he is a good fighter.

Resume with persistent PEDs cheating, judges and even referee support is really hard to evaluate.

If GSP had been roided out like Jones he's have a trail of corpses in his wake.

    Easy GSP
GSP had one arguable decision in his career, vs juiced to the gills Hendricks.

Jones clearly lost the Reyes fight and should have lost the Santos fight

Even outside of that GSP has a better resume, DC is the only truly elite prime fighter Jones defeated.

GSP's best win being Matt Hughes in the rematch right?

I'm tempted to agree with this post

I think there's even an argument to be made that Bisping was a better middleweight than Gane is a heavyweight. Crazy stuff

There is no argument to be made.
Bisping was a very good complete fighter
    Gane has 0 wrestling.

I think Jake Shields, Hughes, Penn are GSPs best wins to be fair.

I know that GSP, Silva and Jones were incredibly dominant, I was always annoyed that none of them ever met up in the cage as they were all light years ahead of their competition for a long stretch

GSP. Jones fought mostly middles whilst being a heavy.
