Used to love Friday Night Fights, watching the likes of Brook, Cleverly, Enzo Mac, et al mix it at British level. Sky did a good job with them. Danny Macintosh vs Nathan Cleverly, both undefeated about 10-0 each, good stuff. This stuff tonight is atrocious in comparison.

Of course Paint Dry Parker is going to think this a good performance from Okolie. Okolie is the only boxer more boring than him.

 

A sad day for British boxing. On the two biggest sports broadcasters, one main event is a dross affair with the crowd booing and the other has a main event which still hasn’t started.

Okolie finally landed something meaningful, causing Light to show the first sign of being in any sort of trouble during the fight. Light did well to recover though, he has a great defence.

 

At one stage under Shane Okolie looked like he might shake his awful style but he has gone back to being the worst boxer to watch on earth

 

Glad I didn’t watch this. Watching Morocco v Brazil instead. A friendly football game that has probably had more physical action than the boxing with two bust ups on the pitch already.

Then into Plant-Benavidez card.

 

Another ref not taking a point off Okolie.

Okolie is just a horrible watch.
