    Plant needs to recentre himself here, if he's going to make the plan work he needs his legs under him. Big minute between these two rounds. Benavidez launches a left hook, Plant lands a low blow, he has blood on his neck? They fight - Plant giving ground in small increments, counters the space nicely, winning hte round after thirty seconds but doom approaches. Plant suddenly looks small but punching two-handed. Does he have the power? Fair play to plant; this is a good firs tminute. Benevidez drives him across the ring hte second minute though - Plant is holding on to this lead here, he is persistent, tries to cover up on the ropes though, Benavidez in charge with thirty seconds left - round there to be won, misses a chance to counter - disaster. Benavidez nicks a close round with an uppercut right on bell!
