I disagree with the thread premise. Canelo wouldn't be easier to deal with.

How do you let Benavidez the tall fighter with long arms demolish you on the inside? Plant basically got sonned on the inside, reminds me of that small NBA coach back in the days trying to break up a fight & almost got trampled then held on the player's leg.

Canelo actually has vicious shots inside with full leverage too. He's bound to hit Benavidez with something when he misses. Also, if he stuns the taller fighter, he could be in big trouble as Canelo is a superb finisher too. Great fight that has to happen in the fall.
