Haney Tells Loma No More Running & Ducking | Press Conference Highlights | Haney vs Loma May 20 - YouTube
TopRank official youtube page is pushing the narrative that Loma ducked Haney, looks like they picked their side.

You already know an Eastern European fighter is not getting a fair shot against a manufactured protected American champ.

If Loma didn't think he could beat Haney, he wouldn't agree to this fight. He obviously examined Haney very carefully and saw flaws in his game.

Just like Usyk was very confident about beating AJ. He kept saying AJ was nothing special. And he was proved true.

It will be a easy fight for Loma.

Haney beat Kambosos and he wants to be in the P4P list, massive natural welterweight guy is beating small guys and still wants to have huge credit.

Loma is very small lightweight, but was able to drop a lot of big lightweights: Linares, Pedraza, Crolla, Campbell, Nakatani, Commey.

Haney could not even hurt small Jojo.

You know I was thinking about this as well. I like Devin but Loma is as smart outside of the ring as he is inside.
Devin has the speed thats for sure and he is faster then Loma.
Devin is the bigger boxer as well.
    Devin is younger too.
But here is the thing: Devin isnt a puncher and he isnt very strong either. And two things: Devin likes to feaure the jab and against a skilled southpaw the jab is hard to be succesful with and I think Devin's chin isnt the best as a matter of fact it might be below average.

    This looks a lot like the Ali/Foreman size difference...except Loma's chin ain't Ali's chin...

Agree. Loma is going just have to use the punch accumulation, which we know he is very good at.

I predict that when Loma meets Haney, this will be like a good amateur fighting a real professional.

Yeah, I don't get the complaining really, Haney is a big LW, Loma is a small lightweight, tough ****.

It might come down to whether or not Loma's last fight was a sign of him slowing down due to age or if he was just working out the ring rust. If Loma loses, he definitely needs to drop down to Super Featherweight (where I think he can win one or more belts). But Haney is a fool if he thinks this fight is gonna be as easy as the Kambosos fights, because Loma is on a whole different level than the Aussie.

Circumstances are NOT necessarily excuses. We don't live in a boxing world anymore where guys are the same size. Ship sailed 20+ years ago.

Shrinking down so much can be detrimental to the larger guy as well. It's not always a plus having to shave off so much weight.
But while you have a good point, the rules do allow EVERYONE to do that too.
