Has there ever been a fight card where evrey boxing match up was a world title fight? If not which card came the closest?
I don't know if it's a record but there were six title fights on the second Julio Cesar Chavez-Meldrick Taylor card. Of course, this eight fight card was brought to us courtesy of Don King. Yeah, it’s gotta be a Don King card during the watered down period of the 2000s where we saw the rise of the redundant, corrupt alphabet agencies combined with King’s diminishing relevance. I’m walking out the door to to work, so I don’t have time to check the particulars…but the first card my father ever took me to was December 13, 2003 in AC at Boardwalk Hall. Think it was 8 title fights.
