I would love to see AJ vs Joyce but it probably won't happen.

There is no way you can watch that fight and say he was more tentative than against Joshua.

Maybe not that night, but he was overall as that's been his largest criticism.

Agree and he was in the AJ fight too. Parker actually showed true grit and heart for once in the Joyce fight. He's always been a fighter who seems to just turn up like I do to my job on a Monday morning.

I fancy Wilder to crack Joyce's chin and win by KO. It would be a very intriguing fight though in which Joyce has a very real chance of winning. I hope this fight happens.

I think Joyce would surprise us and be harder to hit than usual, picking his shots more carefully and gradually breaking Wilder down with that jab.

I don't think Slow is going to get defensively better at his age.

I just think he won't be quite as fearless against Wilder because he'll respect his power and as a result he'll pick his shots more carefully. You can't just come forward swinging against Wilder because you'll get caught and eventually it will do damage.

He did that against Dubois but still took alot of flush right hands

Yeah well said Furey. Key to Fury beating Wilder was not getting caught flush much (despite the knockdowns). Granite chin or not, you don't want to give Wilder too many chances.

One of the top 5 fights I’d like to see in the division

    1) Usyk vs Fury
    2) Joshua vs Fury
    3) Joshua vs Wilder
    4) Usyk vs Wilder
    5) Joyce vs Wilder

Interesting that the opponent who features most often in my wish list is Wilder. Whether you like him or hate him, he’s exciting.

All of those fights above would answer so many lingering questions about the top end of the division - I wish there wasn’t such rigmarole when making fights.

Tend to agree. Shame Wilder didn't take some of the interesting fights earlier in his career, although he still seems to be in good nick anyway.

Conversely the way things have gone in the division, his bargaining power is probably higher now than when the Joshua undisputed didn't happen.

No chance. Prior to Tiresome there wasn't a man alive apparently that couldn't take his power. Fairy proved that wrong. So you have a man who is 1-2 in his last 3, been stopped in one of them and battered all over the place in another, then beat a Nordic nobody. The mystique is long gone old son.
