    About the same, he beat Clyde Gray the next year on points. He struggled twice against Armando Muniz in 1975, this was after losing to Monzon in 1974.

    Napoles isn't KO'ing Starling, who was too good defensively and had a solid chin in any case (unless Napoles whacks him after the bell...). As was usually the case in his biggest fights, Starling's lack of output would cost him IMO. Like someone else said, the Curry-Starling fights are the template here. Napoles UD.

    Some really good comments here on this fight reflecting excellent insights and boxing knowledge. Napoles by UD is probably the correct analysis, not easy by no means though.
