Most aesthetically pleasing punching technique?

Right now Naoya Inoue and Loma are beautiful to watch. Canelo also has some very nice technique. Above LHW it's slim pickings. Weirdly I actually think Wilder has some of the best technique on his right hand, but only on that one shot.

Joe Louis.

He could throw every punch, in close or from the outside, without tipping his hand what was coming, and the power was there in each one of them.

I also really liked watching Alexis Arguello as he got older with his high, tight guard. Just perfect technique.

Those two could throw every punch in combination and you never knew what was coming.

And, more importantly, there was never any "shoe shining."

When people post videos of guys like Ryan Garcia and they go "look how fast his hands are" ... I just roll my eyes.

James Toney was the most visually pleasing fighter to watch since Duran imo

 

Locche is always brought up when great defensive fighters are being discussed, but I always enjoyed to watch him more when he let his hands go. He was very sneaky and ridiculously accurate. And he made it all look so effortless. Even when he would burst into explosive combinations, he would settle back down as if nothing had happened.

Unlike most counter punchers JMM counter punched to PUNCH and not punched to AVOID. JMM tried to hurt his opponents and it was a joy to see him sit down on his shots. He paid for that decision and was KD countless times in his career.

 

Some of the angles and timings Fury throws from are sexual. Takes a trained eye to appreciate it though...same with how Joyce minimizes his speed disadvantage with weird rhythms and often happily to take one to give 3.

 

Nothing was more smooth than Mayweather shoulder rolling and coming back with a straight right or his pull counter could watch that **** all day

 

I love that punch too. I think its a corkscrew punch.

 

Trinidad is rediculious once he gets going.
