Met Collins at a England Lions V NI amateur event a few months ago. He did a bit of a Q&A in the ring beforehand with Richie Woodhall and Steve Bunce. Collins and Woodhall especially are still in great nick and Collins still wants the RJJ fight! I'm a 6 foot 95kg and Woodhall was huge in comparison while Collins looked like he deffo go some after a few Guinness. I sneakily asked RW how a Prime Benn V Collins fight would have gone and he favoured Benn in an absolute blood and snot fest.

I wonder whether the age of the true Brit hardman may have died with Froch's retirement, don't seem to make em like they used to.

Completely agree my friend. They just don't make them like that anymore.

Most of them a frauds in this regard. They claim to be warriors but in the end they treat it like the sport it is and opt out when they can in fights.

We're talking about fighters who claim to be the same as soldiers/warriors on a battlefield but are afraid of other fighters who might beat them on points or concuss them and so dodge/duck all the time.

None of them are prepared to die in the ring, if it happens it's like someone dying in a car accident, it just happens. It wasn't like the person got told they're likely going to die in the car that day and drive anyway. They never expected to die.

Fighters know that the chance of dying in a fight is tiny. If they actually got told they had a good chance of dying that night, they'd pull out. I'm not saying they should actually be prepared to die in a boxing fight, just that they should stop acting like they are genuinely prepared to do that.

Is Cotto's face being messed up really proof of Marg loading his gloves? Cotto's face was susceptible to swelling.

Look at resto vs collins. Bricks mess your face up differently.
Thats why im also suspicious of Chavez sr or alex stewart vs Foreman for example.

Margarito NEVER had loadd gloves never needed or wanted them. his career was tarnished by a blatant lie from a renown complainer Naz Richardson, aided & abetted by the Keystone Kops like CSAC who suspended him before the wraps had been tested & cleared. Sad part is even a state commission will still let an innocent mans career & good name be tarnished rather than admit they were wrong
I just wonder who really was behind it all .After all it gave both Oscar & Floyd excuses not to have to fight Antonio when that was the fight the fans were calling for plus a great excuse for Cotto getting his butt thrashed till he quit

Let's just ignore certain people and not listen to what they are saying from now on.

It is funny how most people just repeat stuff they heard other people say. George Chuvalo got battered around the ring and refused to quit. Foreman got hit with over 300 pounds against Holyfield and kept coming forward, Alex Stewart bloodied up Foreman's face and he kept coming forward. Morrison hit Foreman with devastation hooks and Morrison admitted to being on steroids and Foreman kept coming. Foreman was out on his feet against Ron Lyle refused to quit and came back and won. Even against Jimmy Young Foreman displayed tremendous courage and heart. He suffered a heat stroke and was still going for the KO at the end.

Also for the people who say Tyson Fury would rather die than lose because he got up from being knocked down by Wilder. So wouldn't that mean that every other fighter Wilder knocked down and they got up should be on your list?

I guess that was predictable, looking at the dude's first dozen and a half posts.

That might be a record of some sort...six and a half hours between first post and ban.
