    The eye was no worse from the first time the doc took a look.


    Kudos to Zhang though. I knew he was gonna be a tough match up for Joyce.


    I'm disappointed bigtime, but if Joyce was to lose, then Zhang deserves to be the man to do it.

    I meant his chin was why I gave him so much credit. His skills are subpar, and he can be hurt. I don't think he's going to be much of a threat going foward.

    Good job by Zhang! I wonder where his career goes next? The clock is ticking. Do any of the current or former champs give him the time of day?

    Joyce certainly picked up the pace by round 3 and stayed busy, but he was throwing a lot of pitter patter.

    Joyce went from 270 beast to 256 child.

    Big big difference. Fury is the same. Dropping that much weight is not good for these specimens. Overtraining kills them.

    I think this is being uncharitable. Joyce was never what some people thought he was, but he's big, hard-hitting, great jab, great motor, good chin, and fights anyone. Even at 37, he has a future if he wants it. Hell, he was the baby in this fight.

    Just think how much worse it would have been had the fight been allowed to continue. He was going to keep eating left hands and could very easily been permanently hurt.

    Joyce couldn't get to work without his jab. Elite southpaws are a nightmare, especially with this much power. Zhang was all wrong for Joyce. Joe would have won if it weren't for the eye, but it loook awful.

    Hrgovic being faster, slicker, and with better hand fighting (effective long guard and all) was actually better suited to brace the Bing Bang.

    It should've been allowed to continue for another round or two. But ultimately, I couldn't care less. Just like when Vitali lost to Lewis. TKO's on damage inflicted, mean **** all in the grand scheme of things.
