Fury Against Zhang or Joyce

    This is not a pro or con Fury question. I am looking for some knowledge from you guys. Is there anything you saw from Zhang or Joyce that makes you think they have a good chance to beat a Tyson Fury who would come into the bout in shape and ready to fight?

    Obviously, with heavyweights there is always the one punch KO chance but other than that I did not see a lot from either fighter to bother miniq .... oops, I mean Fury.

    Footwork WINS in boxing

    It beats punching. You cannot land on a man who positions ahead of you.

    Fury has footwork that men that size DO NOT HAVE PERIOD. EVER. He is the missing genetic link.

    Fury wins both but Joyce has the much better chance. Fury can’t bust up Joyce’s face like Zhang did and force a stoppage, it would be a long night for him.

    I'd favor Fury against either, but I think Joyce does better than Zhang in that style match up. Fury does not hit hard, Joyce would go the distance. His punch volume would make it an uncomfortable night for Fury.
    Zhang has the big punch, but his poor stamina gives him little to no chance against Fury.

    Yeah. How is Fury going to get away from Zhang? Zhang has a great high guard and punches barely phase him, even Joyce didn't phase him. And Fury does not do well vs southpaws at all. I think Zhang is the better boxer with better physical stats.. besides stamina. It's purely dependent on how long Zhang can punch and stay sharp for. If Zhang can be motivated to get into top shape, he can 100% beat Fury.

    Honestly I think, current unmotivated, speed-decreased Fury would struggle against Zhang

    Once Zhang catches him, he will slow down, he won't be able to lean on this smart, huge chinese guy with good inside game

    he is deceptively long. hes not afraid to lean in with punches, which lets him cover a lot of ground. and they are fast enough and well timed enough, that its hard to time him.
