Filip Hrgovic vs Zhang Zhilie rematch needs to happen ASAP

Zhang just outclased Joyce, smashed his face in. Joyce having been most hyped up heavyweight contender in the media, and in this forum and was considered nb1. contender. All rubbish, this entire forum was wrong, and was saying Zhang was a B class fighter. You guys are all talk.

Zhang has the belt now, he is the next in line for the true belt shot - after Hrgovic. Hrgovic showed more class, better shots, better chin and more speed than Joyce - yes the UD vs Zhang was controversial - now he has a chance to make it right - and Zhang will accept it.

The fight would mean put on the line - the next mandatory, and both WBO and IBF "interim belts". This needs to happen.

To be fair to you having just seen what he did to Joyce has to make me look differently at Hrgovic.

I think both probably will wait out a title shot now. Zhang earned his last night.

Im sure Joyce has a rematch clause. Not sure he will take it. He is a tough tough man but was badly hurt a few times. You called it as well - fair play!

 

I agree that Hrgovic vs Zhang should fight again next. Doubt they will though.

 

Why not, both are mandatories, Hrgovic needs to prove it wasnt robbery and Zhang wants to get ahead in the queue for Usyk.

 

Maybe Hrgovic knows he got a lucky decision the first time and and won't want to risk his position. This is boxing.

 

At almost 40, Zhang would be silly to take a risky fight, lose his mando AND the huge payout a World Title shot would bring, especially if held in China.

Lose the above and it is game over for him.

Why risk everything, life changing money, when he is inches away from touching the main prize? Let him at least have his deserved shot 1st.

Joyce did exactly this last night and now all talk of super fights and super payouts v AJ, Fury are in tatters.

There's good security for Joyce with his contract clause. I'm sure he could barter that away in exchange for a cut of Zhang's world title shot purse. It's a deal that would suit both parties. It's just a pity the pointless Dubios title shot is in the way first.

 

No he dosn't and you are part of the problem of governing bodys and promotors classing people as champions.
Zhang yes has beat Joyce but he isn't a world champion and neither was Joyce before he lost.

If AJ can't make the Fury fight. I'd like to him fight either Hrgovic or Zhang.

 

I would love for Joshua to destroy the Hrgovic "myth". It'll be a bit similar to how some people are basking in Zhang's last night's win. Even though people are trying to rewrite history, I mean the doctor put a halt to it..
