    Salvador Sanchez defeated Juan La Porte on Dec 13 1980 by unanimous 15 round decision. At the time of his untimely death on August 12 1982, he was preparing for a rematch with Juan La Porte, scheduled for Sept 15 1982 in Madison Square Garden.

    Thats true my friend. But even me as a Puerto Rican I dont see either Gomez or Laporte beating Sanchez at that era!
