People underrating Garcia boxing skills, Kid has over 200 amateur fights ... If this goes the distance Garcia the bigger , faster guy wins on points ..

Everyone thinks it's going to end inside the distance I have a mad feeling this going full 12 ..

If it goes the distance, i think it will be a draw. Both fighters walk away with their '0' and both fighters make more money for the rematch whenever that happens. It makes alot of sense to me.

Don't be shocked to find out that Tank is faster, quicker and the better boxer. Those who think Tank is just a power puncher are gravely mistaken.

He has a very good national amateur record but lost when he stepped up and didn't compete much if at all internationally where the real test lies.
Tank's boxing skills still don't get credit. Ryan can be flat footed with a tendancy to leave his chin in the air on the front foot and that's food & drink for Tank.

Garcia, Barrios, Pitbull Cruz and Santa Cruz must be phenomenal 'boxers'. They were outboxing Tank with relative ease at times.
If it wasn't for his power, he'd have lost at least 2 of those fights (arguably 3).

I think Garcia is a good, not great boxer. He does have a tendency to leave his chin in the air and that's likely to cost him against Tank, who having said that has looked more vulnerable of late. But in the end Tank is similar to Wilder in that he can look bad for a long stretch but has full belief in his power and to this point and has been able to deliver it when he needs it. You can't overlook that.

If Garcia wins, it likely will be by decision. At +800, it's pretty juicy.

He is, I don't even see how this is in doubt to be honest. He's better on the front foot, and he's better on the back foot. Tank is actually quite a good mover (when he has to). Ryan don't defend intelligently, and his foot work ain't all that great. He has gifts but Tank is borderline "special". That's why Tank is so highly touted by other boxers

I am sorry but that is a pretty dumb analysis because he was not losing those fights at all. Check the scorecards. The key thing is all these guys were quality fighters and 3 were reigning world champions with 2 of them being undefeated when beat them and invariably he provided the necessary sepration against guys who came to win. Your examples just show how outstanding Tank is.

this is a hard one. i keep going back and forth. i just dont feel either one has been tested at a level where they themselves are being touted as being. both have lots of talent, and both have weaknesses that could get them caught. i just feel there is more unknown upside to ryan.
ive seen enough of tank to know him well enough to see the consistency in certain things he does. hes smart. hes in there looking for patterns. and when he sees them hes quick on the trigger in his timing. zhang has the same quality, except zhang isnt as good as davis at seeing them in real time, as they are happening. if ryan is repetitive in any of his moves, hes getting caught.
now ryan, hes got a left hook that appears atg, even better than dlh. his is natural, instinctual. in the last few years they have honed it quite a bit through technique. improved his balance, taught him to throw it compactly, inside the opponent. he can hurt tank. i just dont know if ryan can keep the odds in his favor during the fight, by keeping the fight at the distance where you can do damage but he cant, and then timing him with that left when he does press forward. he hasnt been tested under enough conditions for me to feel confident he can maintain. its sink or swim time for ryan.

Great post man & yeah i believe Tank has more knowns as well as experience, activity, well rounded especially with being able to move & his defense is smart as he never over commits & rushes in, it, it's all instincts with Tank.

Same way people thought Pacquiao was faster than Floyd until they fought and the fools realised that Floyd was quicker! In the ring Quickness beats fastness because it’s in the mind. Garcia is going to get knocked out senseless!

Pacquiao was but by the time they fought he had became a lot more stationary just go back & look at his fights with Bradley/Rios,

Plus he was the faster combination puncher of the two as for footwork part is where Floyd did very well, it also helps when one fighter is coming at you all night & you're on retreat & can rely on having a huge ring to evade as opposed to the other way around.
