But you're probably the same guy who thinks Mayweather would get smoked by all the old timers cause Mosely "rocked" him in the second round

Your totally wrong Holyfield admitted Lewis got inside his head in their 1st meeting, talking about how Holyfield had children out of wedlock. If Lewis won the battle of the mind games vs Holyfield, then certainly Holyfield wouldn't win mind games vs Muhammad Ali.

Well Muhammad Ali is a fleet footed fighter and wouldn't be on the inside vs Holyfield so that point is irrelevant.

Eh. Two guys who like to have a nasty brawl got in the ring together, had a nasty brawl. Nobody had to drag either one of them into anything there. Was kind of what you'd expect putting the two of them in there.

Honestly I think Holyfield is overrated as a Heavyweight, before his loss to Bowe he was going life a death vs Dokes, Cooper, Stewart, Old Foreman, Old Holmes.

Holyfield was never a dominant champion, and always looked beatable to me. Although he does have a solid resume and gets alot of credit from me for not avoiding anyone, but at the sametime he also did lose alot of his biggest fights aswell at Heavyweight.

Overall I think it would be a competitive fight, but I certainly don't see Holyfield having any mental edge over Ali not a chance.

Easy to get sucked into replying to a troll or exceptionally daft post, done it myself too often before. Perhaps treat it/him with the seriousness deserved.

Although the Wepner post did remind me of Wepner saying to his corner I knocked him down we are going to be rich to be met with the yeah but he's up and looks pissed reply. (Not an exact quote). So I guess his post served some use.

Would never happen. Holyfield couldn't even get under Tysons skin and everyone knows Tysons routinely has let his temper get the best of him. What chance would Holyfield have to get under Ali's skin of all people? If anything Ali would be the one to get under his skin, then knock him out.

I think everyone is misunderstanding me. My point was not that Holyfield would play mind games on Ali, that's Alis department for sure ...

But Holy is a rough and tumble physical guy known for leading with his head and doing it very effectively and I do think THAT would get under Ali's skin, and I cited the much sloppier, less skilled and cumbersome Wepner having some success in that department, so I certainly think that a physical specimen who was effective in such dirty tactics could certainly ruffle Alis feathers.....only he was a much better fighter and could capitalize on it where Wepner failed

Couldn't get under Tyson's skin? So Tyson bit his ear because he was staying cool and collected?

I'm imagining a press conference between Ali and Holyfield. Ali would be his loud, bombastic self. "The Real Deal? More like The Real Dope! The Real Steal? Look at his head, looks like a damn 8-ball!" On and on.

Holyfield's single line of response would be something like "Well my momma told me to not be impolite to others so let's have a good fight and see what happens in the ring ok?"

So your argument is that Holyfield would beat Ali because of his dirty tactics? Doubt it, it wasn't below Ali to get rough himself. The second Frazier fight is a pretty good example of that.

I agree that roided up prime Evander would be a tough fight for Ali, but I think Ali would overcome that. The 60s and 70s were pretty rough eras.
